i think the internet is more dangerous than i thought it was. I will defiantly change a couple of things about my social media. ill make sure i don't have my email or phone number or anything like that on social media. I want to make sure that my digital footprint is clean\private.

I think the internet gets a hold of a lot more info than I would want it to. I am going to go trough what I have on there so no one can see my personal things. I think that social media is scary. I do not want people to see where I live, or anything about my family. I agree with paula. She was saying how social media is a scary place, and shes going to be more careful too.

I agree with Gianna because after doing this assignment I realized how much information the internet has bout you. This is uncomfortable because the internet has information you don´t want people to know.

i agree with Gabriel because they where kinda saying the same thing as i did, therefore i know we are on the same page about how dangerous the internet really is! and I also agree that they get the feeling of uncomfortable because i would do if someone would know who my mother is or even what school i do to.

I think the internet holds a lot of our information which is kind of concerning. My feelings for this is that s is kind of scary to know how much of your information the internet has. I do not think I will make changes on how I use it. Just in case the change I will make will be having random words and numbers on my password.

I agree with Gabriel .. it is really easy these days to get a hold of people's personal information and it could be very harmful towards us.

I feel like social media if you put your email or phone number or anything really. Random people and creeps be getting your phone number and email. Then when u shop on online and stuff out of nowhere your being charged for something you didn’t buy. So think the social media and the internet can be dangerous. I agree with Ginna and Paula.

I do believe social media can be revealing of a lot of personal information, it can be very unsafe. I also think that monitoring the information that is posted on your pages by yourself or others is very important to protect your privacy because even if you are careful with the information you yourself are sharing, someone else might reveal a detail you did not want to do yourself.

Couldn't agree more even little things in the background could give someone enough information about you.

I agree with this statement because sometimes people may put your business out there without being conscious of them doing it.

after doing this lesson I have come to realize that social media apps sometimes do leave your information wide open. But I good amount of the time it is because the user is because uncaring. If someone really wanted to get your information it wouldn't be possible unless they were hacking. So I would have to agree with most of the comments here social media does leave a decent protection of your email.

I agree with Badu because most of the time people get this kind of info just from someone deciding that they should post every little thing about themselves online and all it would take is just someone looking through an account.

After completing the assignment, I learned not everything should be on social media. Your age, address, phone number, etc is not needed to be shown. You could easily be hacked and one thing that is shown is basically linked to everything so from now on, I know not to show or put certain things out there in the world,

After doing this assignment I realized that people are really bad at not exposing their personal info. I probably won't change how I use social media because I'm already extremely careful with this kind of stuff. I have mixed feelings on social media because on one hand it's a thing online and shouldn't be taken seriously and on the other there are people doxxing others and stuff like that over small things.

i don't really go on social media that much and if i do its just to see what's new. I also don't post anything on social media so there's not really anything that i need to do to change anything that i do on social media.

I mean I'm already aware of this kind of stuff but i'll be extra careful due to this exercise. But if it's hard you can just use a vpn. i guess you can consider me a "Hacker" but if the person is trying to some private information i'll do the same! At the same time the internet gets hold of a lot more info then it should. And for us Humans that use tech everyday thats very bad. Example: You click on a website to get a car and you put your card on there. They now have your card and you can't really do anything about it but turn off the card. We're really screwed if our info gets into the wrong hands we're done for sad to say...

Social media is a place where you always have to watch your back and be careful. You have to be careful because what you put out there is never forgotten no matter if you delete it. People run programs just to find your info so they can sell it to the highest bitter online to marketers. Also many people post there location on snap map and stuff similar like that meaning people could easily get your location and do whatever they want with it.

My feelings on social media is that you should always keep it professional, clean, and don't put your business out there. After completing this assignment I see how easy it is to find information on somebody, and sometimes it don't even be the person that said it. As of now, I don't think I need to change the way I use social media because I believe I use it appropriately and display myself how I would want others to see me. I also don't like too many people knowing my business so I would never expose myself like that.

I for sure agree with this, and it's definitely what I've been doing. It's one thing if you're sharing information online with somebody you know and trust, but sharing it on your bio or expressing personal things frequently can be dangerous. it's not smart at all to be sharing things with the public like location or ways you can be contacted.

my feelings about social media is that you shouldn't post any personal information about yourself publicly no matter what. its really easy to find out things about people on social media. so you should always try to keep everything private. i already knew these things but the assignment reminded me how much people put out things about themselves.

I feel like people should be careful about what they post like picture near their homes. they should also tell their friends what they feel comfortable with being said on the internet because honestly that's where they went wrong. I learned it doesn't take much to be a weird internet stalker. I'm not really an avid internet poster so I think I'm totally safe from this.

Personally, my feelings about social media haven't really changed that much. I know that these things can happen to people who don't know any better, but I myself am careful with how I use my information online and don't put it out there for the whole world to see. I've never revealed anything very personal about myself online, and if I have, all information has been very vague. If I were to ever put something about myself online that pertains to my everyday or past life, it'd either continue to be vague or would only be shared with people that I know and trust.

I agree with Alana Williams. You should always keep your business private. I feel like everyone should keep social media professional. You should always watch what you put and what you do on social media carefully because if your're not it's gonna cause huge problems and consequences. I see a lot of people put where they from and what school they go to, their age, and etc. It's not safe at all and I think people should know better. Social Media is scary you have to be careful.

My feelings toward social media is fine because I know how to use it properly. One thing about social media that really makes me upset is cyber bullying. I find bullying someone is ridiculous but bullying someone through a screen is unacceptable. Some things I would do to change social media is making things private. Privacy is key to a lot of things in life especially towards social media. I would also help people understand the causes of putting your information on social media. Show people how to use social media instead of yelling at them. I feel like some people shouldn't use social media especially really young kids ages 5-10. Overall be safe using social media.
