If I had a friend who was afraid to shop online because her personal information might get stolen I would persuade her that e-commerce is usually safe if there's some form of encryption and/or security protection. I would tell her to be sure that the site protects her information and it's a legit website and not a fraud. I would also tell her to be cautious of prices.

I'd tell her that buying things from protected sites is safe, and that for gauranteed safety she should check to make sure that there is a padlock next to the url before giving personal information.

If my friend come to me with a promblem with the internet i will let her no that everyone that has social internet doesnt always use there identity , who you may think a person is it may not be , so if she is worrying about her information being on the internet dont use your full name you can put an nickname or another last name but what will be the promblem is the identification , ex. pictures . you cant put pictures up with a false name it just doesnt mix , buisness use e-commerce to reach more consumers, sends information quickly and lower operating expenses which is very important

You can tell her that buying from e-commerce is usually safe because of encryption and to be sure that the site's not a scam and it's a real seller. Persuade her into shopping online and let her know that her information will be kept safe.

I would tell my friend to never provide a credit card number or other personal information unless the site is secure. To avoid doing business with unfamiliar companies. Also to make sure the website is secure and uses encryption.

I would explain the benefits of e-commerce to my friend. E-commerce is a great and fast way to purchase and sell things, especially if you can't physically make it to a store or a transaction. I would also explain that in order for you to make sure that people can not view your personal information, you should make sure that the site you are making the purchase from is a legitimate website and that the site is encrypted. If the site is encrypted, no one can view your information and you'll be safe from complications, such as identity fraud.

First I would tell my friend that her personal information will not be stolen. When shopping online you should never purchase anything from companies you have never heard of. Never provide a credit card number unless the site is secure. And if you create a User ID and Password choose something that would be hard to guess.

If a friend of mine is afraid of buying online because she thinks her information might get stolen, i would of tell her/him that most of the websites like Ebay, Walmart, Amazon , Fedex, Itunes, Travelocity & ect are websites that we should trust. Before buying online make sure that the Web site is secure and uses encryptions & haves the padlock symbol in the web address, if you dont see none of the followings then do not risk your information. . . Never go crazy and just buy the first thing you see because its really cute or cheap, always keep security on mind. If my friend is not satisfy about what i had said, he/she is not 100% conviced i would recommended her, to do a search about the company or page she's try to buy on because there's alot of people always commenting about the page.

its better to shop onlline. you dont have to travel 30minutes to an hour just to get a pair of sneakers and a hat. make sure if you put in your credit card its must be an encrypted website so your information is secure. be aware of some sites that can backfire against you and ruin your life.
