A friend offers to sell you her three-year-old computer. How will you decide whether to buy it? If you were able to buy your own computer which one would you buy and why?

I will take a moment to think about the sort of applications I will need and want to run on my new PC, which will also help me decide which features my system will need.If I were to buy my own computer it will be a Gateway computer. My mother has always used these and I can't really complain, but otherwise be satisfied with Gateway company computers.

I would rather buy my own computer than having a little girl sell me her computer because I think it would be a great idea for a little girl to give away something she doesn't use anymore.

I would decided whether to by the computer when i cheak it out look at the features of the computer. And to see what the computer has and what it don't have.I would also make sure the price was a reasonable price and if it was worth it.

If my friend try selling me a 3 year old computer ,I wouldnt buy unless he or she is selling it for cheap. The reason why I wouldnt want to buy it , really because why buy a old computer when you could buy a new modern computer with all the updates.

First off im not buying a desktop computer, ill buy a laptop before i buy a desktop. If i buy anything 3 years old im going to check that it still works and runs decent. Also going to check to make sure the computer has no virus, and look to see what programs are coming with the computer.

If my friend offered to sell me her three year old computer I would kindly reject the offer. First of all, three years is a long time to have a computer and it most likely slowed down and has all kinds of viruses and what not. I would just my own computer because I know that its not going to have any problems and if it does I can just take it back and get another one because of the warranty. Buying new compared to buying used is always the safer option.

Before purchasing this computer I would first see how much space it holds as well as the kind of software that already comes with it.Taking a computer's storage space and software into consideration is highly important, as it plays a major role in pricing the computer. If my friend's computer contains the software I want as well as a good amount of space, I would buy it, because it's most likely that a new computer with the same components would cost way more than the used one.
